Our good friend recently had surgery. Despite the fact that it was a sort of major surgery, we were humored to find out that he was not nervous but in fact excited because the surgery was to be performed robotically! Our initial idea was to have him holding a tiny version of the stereotypical robot in the painting, in the palm of his hand, but the ideas spiraled from there into the card we ended up creating. Domo Arigato, Dr. Robotowitz. It has a nice ring to it.

I had so much fun in the gross anatomy course during my first year of medical school. I started working on this during the final weeks of this four month course and finished it about 4 months later. Medical school keeps you pretty busy.

This was a birthday card sketch for our friends Jenn and Scott, based on an inside joke. Jenn is Asian and Scott is Caucasian. Somehow we all became bears. We thought this birthday card was quite fitting for them. It was greatly appreciated and now sits in a frame in their home.

This amazing ‘save the date’ postcard was thought up by Kara. We worked together in getting it to print, and found a cheap-o web-based printing service that delivered surprisingly quality postcards. Including postage, we took care of all our save-the-dates for about $50!
